The new categories for these Visio templates, available via the left navigation pane, are:

- a plan
- Organizational Chart
- Network and Cloud Engineering
- Software and database
- Graphs
Improved mobility and accessibility
Microsoft has made it easy to navigate the new page and discover the right template for your project. Selecting All Templates from the Visio home page takes you to the Templates home page, where countless template cards are waiting for you to read.
Hovering over any of these cards gives you two options: either start over with Create Blank, allowing you to create your favorite diagram on a clean canvas accompanied by the necessary stencils, or dive deeper with Explore More to delve into a variety of templates. Graphs related to your chosen category.
New categories
The Infographics category is a real treasure trove, offering templates for a variety of timelines such as product launch roadmaps and marketing plans. Also note the new Weekly Planner diagram template, a useful tool for visualizing plans in a sequential manner.
If you focus on networking, the “Network and Cloud Architecture” category contains templates for a set of network diagrams, along with diagrams for Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Those who deal with software and databases will find the Software and Databases category particularly useful, housing templates for creating entity relationship diagrams (ERDs) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams.
Flowchart enthusiasts will also be happy to find templates for creating different types of flowcharts in the “Flowchart” category.
Finally, the Organization Chart category is filled with templates for creating various diagrams and hierarchical diagrams, including new additions that are accessible to users who have a Visio Plan 1 or Visio Plan 2 license.

In addition to browsing, you can quickly search for templates using keywords in the Search Templates box. Results update dynamically as you type, so you can be focused on your perfect template in no time.
